• Our Story

  Sprux LLC is located in Austin, Texas, a growing hub for music, technology, and culture in the Texas Hill Country. We love Austin, its robust infrastructure, business-friendly politics, bustling tech scene, and of course its world-famous music scene. Founded in 2002, Sprux became a Limited Liability Company in 2006 and has provided technical services and consulting to dozens of clients over the years.

  
  Over the years we have provided services to dozens of clients in need of network support and website maintenance, and we have also managed our own network infrastructure through many challenging phases. Marshall Stokes, Sprux LLC's founder, has over ten years of web programming, networking, and unix-style administration experience. We have designed and implemenented server cluster roll-outs, network monitoring systems, and service migrations (including migrations to the cloud).

  In 2007 we decided to follow our collective dreams and take some big chances with the resources that have become available to us over the years. We called upon the knowledge, experience, and connections we have accumulated over the past decade and drew up a new business plan, mapping out the steps we would follow in the coming months and years to grow our company into a formidable presence in the tech world.
