People

Sprux LLC is currently home to a mere handful of tech professionals. We mostly keep to ourselves, working hard on our projects and pursuing our dreams out of our modest office in Myrtletown, California. We are a unique mix of engineers, designers, musicians, and nerds, and we have grand ambitions.

  • Marshall Stokes

    Marshall

Born into a family of entrepreneurs dating back countless generations, Marshall quickly moved from independent contractor to small business owner after college. Well connected among Silicon Valley super-geeks, he has the technical knowledge and resources to carry Sprux's projects from ideas all the way to profitable business models. As a musician, programmer, and network administrator, he is capable of integrating the different components of each of Sprux's projects and, as a natural writer (and closet blogger), translate it into a coherent business plan.

  • Michele Stokes

    Michele

Michele focused on the optimization of algorithms while earning her BSCS and has since taken up graphic design. Her broad knowledgebase and superb analytic abilities allow her to understand and contribute ideas to all areas of our projects. Michele has an eye for design and an attention to detail that help Sprux create an intuitive experience for web users. Her obsession with website usability ensures that features are organized and accessible to users with any level of experience. Michele also caters the office, keeping our teammates from getting grumpy or unproductive due to low blood sugar.

  • Olivier Couston

    Olivier

Olivier earned his Masters in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Troyes, France while honing his 3D StudioMax skills on the side. Soon after, he came to California to pursue his dream of working for a web startup company and driving a classic Ford Mustang, recording his adventures in a tablet PC-drawn comic blog (in French) along the way. His 3D profile at CGSociety.com has well over 150,000 views and he has professionally created 3D models of classic characters such as Lisa and Maggie Simpson for Universal Studios. Not wanting to waste his programming talents to be a CG scenester, Olivier is currently a senior developer for Sprux LLC. His interest in web culture takes him all over American and European social networks viewing the latest in viral content and, at the same time, identifying new web tools and programming concepts that he can use to help Sprux gain an additional edge in the tech world.
